You'll be surprised at how amazing even the closest of destinations are. In a single day of sailing, we've got bustling towns, sandy beaches, ragged headlands, Areas of Oustanding Natural Beauty, and islands; all of which make up some of the best sailing ground for hundreds of miles around.
This relatively short trip is perfect for those who are limited on time but need to get out on the water, or for those who want to experience sailing for the first time. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
If the weather allows, a quick hop across the North Channel to the Scottish islands is within easy reach.
What people say
Brilliant Weekend sailing with friends…
Firstly the views of the north coast were breathtaking on our trip, many times we've driven the coast road but you cannot appreciate the true beauty of the coastline around the area until onboard Nebraska.
We had great fun onboard and really enjoyed the 'craic' with the crew members on our overnight stay in Rathlin. Once we had departed Ballycastle Harbour we made a smooth sailing across to Rathlin Island and arrived in time to relax on deck with a glass of wine while enjoying a beautiful sunset. Perfect!
After exploring some of what the island had to offer (and a quick drink in the pub with the friendly
locals) we returned to find the crew had prepared a beautiful meal which we enjoyed below deck in the dining area.Overall Facilities on board are second to none! I was surprised at the amount of space and of the level of style and decorative order below deck, kingside beds and flat screen TVs were not what I had anticipated.
Lastly Special mention goes to Skipper Tony, he was brilliant throughout our trip. Both he and his crew were very informative and provided great insight into Sailing for our party of complete beginners. They frequently encouraged those of us who were interested to get involved and taught us the basics
of sailing. All in all we had a great weekend and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of a trip with a difference. Couldn't fault it and will definitely be booking again perhaps to somewhere further
afield next time.Kelly-Anne Glenn

From Ballycastle to Portpatrick, fantastic experience!…
As a first time 'sailor' I found the Nebraska a very comfortable vessel. Surprisingly spacious below deck, fully equipped with all needs catered for. The Skipper is accomplished and very capable, I felt very safe at all times, not being used to being on a yacht. I would highly recommend a trip on the Nebraska, I had an amazing time!
